Painted Warriors is an 82 acre ranch with an indoor riding arena and trails, we are located in the foothills of the beautiful Alberta Rocky Mountains. The position includes private accommodation in small cabin with main kitchen area for cooking meals, food will also be included.
This position will provide an opportunity for certification in wilderness skills and also traditional first nations land based knowledge. We focus on skills such as learning to pack a horse and ride in the back country/mountains.
Duties will include, exercising horses including young horses, horse care and arena maintenance, hours will be 4- 5 hours per day-5 days per week. All of our horses are well broke or well started. If interested please email a resume with your experience, and what you are hoping to learn.
