Camp Chateaugay is a co-ed sleep-away camp nestled in the beautiful Adirondacks, welcoming campers aged 7-17 since 1946. Set along a pristine mountain lake, Chateaugay provides a unique space for campers to unplug from technology, embrace nature, and create lifelong memories.

Our campers enjoy a mix of adventure, personal growth, and skill-building, with programs designed to build independence, self-confidence, and lasting friendships. With over 60 activities across land and water sports, arts, and more, there’s always something new to try.

Camp Chateaugay also offers an equestrian program with stables for up to 13 horses, tack and feeding rooms, a sand-surfaced riding ring with jump elements, and a cross-country course. Our focus is on providing a safe, inclusive environment where every camper can explore their passions, push their limits, and make unforgettable memories.
