L'Ecurie Colibri is looking for a barnhands to cover the following positions. Must be 18 or older. Drama-free environment and we work as a team.

2 part time positions open (can lead to full time): currently looking for weekdays, however you need to be available weekends and holidays as needed. there are regular staff covering weekends so may be only when someone needs to take the day off for a reason (very dependable weekend staff) and for the holidays we rotate annually so not always same person stuck with the holiday shifts. Very fair work environment however it is a 7 day/24 hour job since we are dealing with live animals and so it needs to be understood you cannot take every holiday off and we do work as a team. Competitive compensation, must go on payroll Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion/St. Lazare Tasks: feeding grain to horses, turnout, blanketing when needed, horse care as needed (treatments/medications), being there and/or holding for farriers and vets. Other misc tasks: filling haynets, cleaning and filling water buckets, cleaning grain bins, keeping work stations clean and when time permits removing spiderwebs etc. We work as a team and at times you may be asked to help with other chores. you will be working with others during the day that do other chores around the barn Horse experience for this position a must.

2 more part time positions open (can lead to full time): Must be available weekdays and at least 1 day of the weekend Shifts start in the morning Competitive compensation, must go on payroll Tasks: Cleaning stalls (it is not standard stall cleaning, we use hemp bedding and the stalls are cleaned with a machine) and other general barn chores (cleaning paddocks, etc). We have staff that look after the horses so this position is for barn work and not working with horses directly.

Must have a car to get to work Must be available to work at least 1 day on the weekend and available on holidays there are other staff working and would be annual rotation to work on holidays you work in a team
