Private stable with riding facilities. Skills required in dressage,eventing and an interest in breeding shows (in-hand).

We would like to expand our team and are looking for an employee with longtime experience as a head person in a sport or breeding stable.

We can only consider an EU based person with an EU passport or with a valid work visa. No job beginners please. Min.3 years of work experience in similar position with references.

We are looking for:

Experience with horses at an advanced/professional level is required: Long-term professional experience in a responsible position in a professional sports stable/breeding company or completed technical school training with professional experience.

skills in working with youngsters and prepare them for dressage /eventing/breeding shows. Position can be either a home groom role or a groom role with light traveling (a few times per year)

Language skills: English on an advanced level and willingness to learn basic Czech. Part of our team is fluent in English.

Supervise the daily routine of the team (consisting of other horse grooms and stable staff) in cooperation with the management.

Friendly, calm handling of animals, precise work, good work ethic and good physical fitness.

An important part of the job is direct work with horses: training preparation and cleaning, health checks, assistance with visits to the veterinarian and farrier, allocation and preparation of feed rations, leading horses (including stallions) to pasture or to the paddock. There are horses of different age groups (sports horses, young horses, retired horses).

Cooperation with the trainer in the basic training of young horses from the ground (work on the ground, lunging, free jumping,...)

Optionl with riding:if you are a smaller and lightweight person suitable to ride smaller horses or sportponies riding can be part of the job. Required level of dressage skills: confident on novice / elementary level. Work includes breaking of youngsters and if desired private dressage lessons on former FEI placed, small horses. RIDING VIDEO REQUIRED.

We offer:

• Full-time employment,min. for contract duration of 1,5 - 2 years
• 40 hours/week depending on experience and abilities up to EUR 1900 gross depending on skills + paid overhours + nice apartment (bath,kitchen + 3 rooms) for sole use + possibility to bring 1 horse (gelding or mare) and get private lessons with trainer (Pferdewirt FN)
