We are seeking an Employee (m/f/d) for breeding and gynaecology at our Osthoff Stud in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany, as soon as possible.

#####Your responsibilities include:

• Coordination and organisation of our broodmares for daily gynaecology as well as gynaecology and insemination duties
• Liaising with the vets for daily routines
• Foal rearing
• Horse evaluation
• Checking the wellbeing of our the horse population in the pastures
• Planning, organising and carrying out feeding
• Preparation and processing of lists and documents
• Preparation of the breeding reports for the individual mares
• Leading a team of several people

Your profile:

• Sound knowledge in the field of breeding and management is a must
• Completed studies / training in an agricultural -profession, breeding, animal health / or horse management would be an advantage
• Friendly and effective communication skills
• Good knowledge of English
• Confident use of MS Office
• Previous work experience in a leading position with staff supervision would be an asset
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Flexible, able to work under pressure
• Driving licence B (BE or T advantageous, but not mandatory)
