Vacancy for a working student in our busy, professional, private equestrian yard near Watergrasshill, Cork, Ireland.

Work and duties include helping to feed horses, in stables and in loose pens, turning out horses, getting horses on and off the walker, mucking out, bedding down stables when needed and tacking up putting away horses. Opportunity to help hacking out and lunging of horses. Must be able to take instruction from other team members and keep our busy yard clean and tidy as they work. Great opportunity for candidate to learn but applicant should be comfortable around horses and livestock of all ages and sizes and have some previous experience with horses. More work will be available too, for the right candidate. Must to be legal to work in Ireland.

Sceilig Sport horses is an equestrian business run by HSI Level 2 Coach Kilian Browne.

Kilian specialises in the production and sale of quality young sport horses and competes them showjumping from young horse classes to grand prix, as well as coaching and mentoring pupils at all levels.

A 60 x 40 Equestrian Surfaces Arena to jump and exercise our horses with a 21 x 50 metre arena. Covered lunge arena and walker means our horses can exercised in all weathers. American barn can stable 12 horses with 5 external stables and 6 open pens for young stock. 6 horse walker, wash bay and solarium help keep the horses in top condition.

Sceilig Sport Horses has a small number of liveries that call us home! During the "quieter" time in the spring/summer/autumn we run training shows.
