Holiday equestrian center, focused on riding tours on the beach and in the water, looking for experienced grooms to join the team.

Daily maintenance of the stable, mucking and cleaning the yard.

This is an exciting role for an experienced Groom who is looking for a non riding position who has experience mucking out, grooming and handling mostly quiet horses - mares, geldings and foals. Riding remains optional in the time of.

Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning/mucking of stalls and yard.
• Assist taking horses to and from the arena.
• Apply medication on horses as needed.
• Assist guides to groom and tack up if/when needed for the tours.
• Assist farrier and vet if/as needed.

Salary guide: set biweekly + shared tips from the tours.

Experience with: Muck stalls, clean yard Grooming, turn in/out Handling horses - mares, foals, stallions Groom, pick hooves Tack up - saddle, bridle

Personal qualities: punctual, diligent, efficient. Responsible and able to work in a team and alone with minimal supervision.
