Full Time Groom

We have a position available for a full time groom to join our team on our family run private livery yard near Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL9 6DW, working with a great team of hardworking, friendly and good-humoured staff. Our yard is located within easy reach of the M25, A1 and A414 and is 5 minutes drive from the Royal Vet College.

🔸You must be confident in handling a variety of horses from 10hh-18hh

🔸You need to be committed, punctual, and have good time keeping. You need to work well in a team, and have the ability to use your own initiative. You must be able to work to a good standard.

🔸Usual yard duties required including feeding, turning out/bringing in, mucking out, tidying the yard, grooming etc. Riding may be available to the right candidate, but is not offered as part of the job.

🔺This position is live out, accommodation is not available.

🔹We are looking for someone to work 5 days; 4 days in the week and a Sunday. Start time is 07:30 and finish time is 16:00/16:30, with a 15:00 finish negotiable on some days.
