Trek Leader to join our fun and friendly team.
Looking for a pony trekking leader to join us at Glenshiel ponytrekking center for 2025 season. .
if you are fun, friendly with good customer care person and love riding and caring for pony’s this might be the perfect summer job for you. you will be in sole charge of the trekking center and taking out a max number of 6 people going out at one time, chat with the customers so they enjoy there experience of the trek and exploring the beautiful area and wildlife of Glenshiel in the west coast of the Scottish Highlands You would be taking the bookings by phone and from the face book page so office work would of an advantage
We also have a few of our younger highland ponies which still need to be brought on so you must have experience with bringing on youngsters
This job will require a trek leader and first aid certificate and also a driving license would be to your advantage but not totally necessary you could use public transport that we have 2 minutes from our house The season starts in May until September ( TBC)
And out of trekking season there would be other work that would involve helping with all other duties about the farm

Job Description
To start asap Wanted experienced, dedicated, friendly and hard working individual for pony trekking who would be responsible for 6 ponies and taking members of the public on treks, giving clear instructions and lessons to beginners in our schooling yard and working with our younger ponies to bring them on and to also carry out general maintenance duties of yard
The successful applicant will be in sole charge of trekking and working with beginners, including children.
