The Stables Horse Activity Centre is still looking for an Instructor to join our friendly and dedicated team at our very special riding centre in Barnet.

The Stables Horse Activity Centre is fully integrated riding centre for all abilities, irrespective of their emotional or physical needs. Our focus is providing a safe and secure environment for people with learning or physical disabilities to spend time and work with horses, enriching their lives. We run mix of riding therapy lessons during the week and lessons at the weekend where disabled children and young people ride with their non-disabled peers, embedding the principles of community integration. We’re a registered charity and have developed a very special place in the local community over the last 26 years.

We’re now looking for an Instructor to run lessons at the weekend and possibly during the week for 2/3 days a week and an evening. These lessons will be a mix of beginner and more advanced lessons as well as individual lessons for clients with learning and/or physical disabilities, ages ranging from 6 to 65+.

You will also need to help out around the yard - mucking out, grooming etc and helping with our weekday students.

You will need a positive attitude to work within the small team that supports the Stables. Experience of a busy yard is a must and experience of working with and teaching clients with learning and/or physical disabilities is ideal but not essential.
