We are looking for a competent Head Chef to head up the food operations at Belmont Farm in North West London.

The farm has been welcoming visitors for over 10 years and educates children about farm life and animals. In May 2023 we will be adding to the facilities on the farm with an Italian restaurant, bakery, deli and two cafés.

The bakery, deli and restaurant will not only serve visitors to the farm but will also be open to the wider public.

The ideal candidate will have the following traits:

• Experience in Italian cuisine and especially pizzas and pasta.
• Knowledge and experience of baking would be beneficial.
• Experience in running multiple food areas/sites.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as dealing with guests and team members alike will be very important.
• Strength in managing stock, gross profit percentages and general financial elements of the business.
• Be well presented.
• Have a “can do” attitude.
• Experience in new openings would be advantageous.
• Lead train and inspire your team.
• Understand and manage health & safety and food hygiene in the kitchen and food areas.
• Ability to problem solve effectively and always remain calm under pressure.
