We require a full time work rider and groom to join our friendly Point to Point/National Hunt yard based on our family run farm.
We have approximately 40 horses which we ride out as a team between 7.15am and 1.00pm. Previous riding experience to a good standard is required, but racing experience is not essential. Opportunities to school and gallop horses is based on experience, and we provide top class training for riders, including coaching from Cheltenham Festival winning jockeys and Yogi Breisner.
Evening stables are from 3.00pm to 5.30pm, with every other weekend off from Saturday 1pm, as well as half a day off every week. Limited mucking out and nice horses to exercise. There is onsite accommodation in farm cottages available if required.
The yard is 1 mile from the M40 and 15 minutes from Oxford and High Wycombe, as well as good train links and bus routes. Excellent transport links to London and easy access to local pubs, shops and cinemas.

Requirements
A driver is an advantage but not essential, ability to plait, trim and tidy is an advantage.
Able to drive a lorry would be highly preferable.

We are a fun, friendly and sociable National Hunt and Point to Point yard in Oxfordshire. We have full access to our own private gallops (grass, all-weather and sand), as well as our own schooling fences, hurdles, tyres, manege and lunge pen. We also have multiple grass paddocks and x3 two-horse lorries. We have on-site farm cottages on site for anyone who requires shared accommodation, all with large gardens, kitchens and lounge areas. We also have lots of on-site private parking.
Located just 1 mile from Junction 6 of the M40, we have excellent transport links, including trains to London, Birmingham and Oxford. We also have a good bus service with a bus stop opposite the farm gates, useful for anyone without a car for access to shops and pubs. Oxford and High Wycombe only 15 minutes away.
