Full or Part-time position available for competent and experienced groom on professional yard of 26 horses.

Friendly and fast paced yard with a mix of hunt horses, race horses, event horses and ponies.

We require someone who works well as part of a small, dedicated team and enjoys a varier work load week to week. You must also be kind, polite and trustworthy to fill this roll. The full time position requires a 7.30am start and 5.30pm finish, hours are varied and depend on season and competition times. Lack of day light during the winter can make work days shorter and eventing/racing days may require extra hours when going competition grooming and traveling to race courses.

Yard owners are hands-on, running the yard and riding on a daily basis, doing transport and looking after livery clients.

The opportunity to travel to competitions and racing is available with a HGV license preferred, but not essential if you would prefer not to be going out of the yard.

Capable rider with experience of handling and riding young horses preferred.
