We are a top class National Hunt racing and Point to Point yard, who require a Yard Person to join the team at our 40 horse yard. Experience of thoroughbreds is preferred, and duties include mucking out, grooming, turning horses out, putting horses on/off the walker, and opportunities to lead up at the races.
The working hours are 7.00 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 5.30 pm, with every other weekend off from Saturday lunchtime, as well as half a day off in the week. The successful applicant would have 4 weeks paid holiday and be enrolled into our pension scheme.
We have the option of a farm cottage (shared accomodation) onsite, with a large garden, lounge area and large kitchen.
A driving licence is preferred, but not essential. Located 1 mile from Junction 6 of the M40 and close to rail links to London, Oxford and Birmingham. Regular bus service in the village with bus stop opposite the farm gates.
We are a small, friendly and sociable team.
Competitive salary based on experience.

We are a fun, friendly and sociable National Hunt and Point to Point yard in Oxfordshire. We have full access to our own private gallops (grass, all-weather and sand), as well as our own schooling fences, hurdles, tyres, manege and lunge pen. We also have multiple grass paddocks and x3 two-horse lorries. We have on-site farm cottages on site for anyone who requires shared accommodation, all with large gardens, kitchens and lounge areas. We also have lots of on-site private parking.
Located just 1 mile from Junction 6 of the M40, we have excellent transport links, including trains to London, Birmingham and Oxford. We also have a good bus service with a bus stop opposite the farm gates, useful for anyone without a car for access to shops and pubs. Oxford and High Wycombe only 15 minutes away.
