PART TIME Gallops Maintenance Person required for National Hunt Racing Yard in West Sussex 15-25 hours a week NEGOTIABLE
Monday- Saturday MORNING Hours 2-3 HOURS PER DAY Negotiable or if can ride racehorses too then could be FULL TIME
Duties include: Driving tractor /emptying muck trailer Harrowing Gallops Mending fencing, stable doors /general maintenance Looking after young stock and horses turned out ( hay/water/check) Painting Gardening Treading in gallops Harrowing rolling topping paddocks
We are a yard of 25 horses and small team, this is a very varied. You must be good working on your own and as part of the team, Must have good time management skills, able to prioritise and work on your own initiative,
Requirements
Must be experienced Tractor driver , Fit active yard person , with skills in all sorts of maintenance and horse management areas. Must be a team player and able to use initiative . A very varied role, in which you must be able to manage your time and prioritise jobs. Lots of working on your own initiative, fixing things, fencing, gardening etc etc . sense of humour.

We are a family run National Hunt Training yard based in Findon, West Sussex . We have 30 racehorses as well as retired horses and Connemara ponies .
We have all weather gallops, grass gallops, a horse walker, schooling ground, 60x 20 Arena with SJs, excellent hacking over the downs and have a team of 10 staff ( Full and part time).
We are right on the South East coast, 20 minutes from Brighton and 50 miles from London, half an hour from Gatwick airport.
