Wellingmede Farm, a small private hunter jumper barn near Woodstock, Alabama, is looking for a part time farm worker. The initial position would be approximately 25 hours per week, but could evolve into a full time caretaker position if the part time work is satisfactory. Duties include general horse care and handling, feeding, mucking stalls, picking paddocks, cleaning barn, filling water troughs, mowing and weed eating, repairing fences, etc. Ability and willingness to farm sit for extra pay when owners are out of town also desired. Must have own transportation, experience and interest in caring for horses, and good references. No on-site living accommodations are available at this time.

Wellingmede Farm is a 130 acre private horse farm located halfway between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It currently houses three to five mannerly horses and a miniature donkey, along with other small barn animals. Twelve stall barn with wash rack, feed room, hay loft, tack room, lounge with bathroom, porch, round pen, large jumping arena and several paddocks and run in sheds comprise the facility.
