My amazing groom is returning home to be closer to family after staying much longer than originally plan. That means its time to look for the next person to join our "family". The job includes preparing horses to ride, warm up horses (if qualified) assisting in the arena, videoing, and daily care of the horses such as laser treatments, icing, hand walking, and any needed therapies. While its not a "barn chores" position in the classical grooming sense, helping with hay and grain/supplements is an important part of the job. On site accommodations available (RV or house options). The ideal person would be available long term and be capable of grooming or learning to groom at the major championship level. We are happy to train someone with a desire to learn, but a high level of horsemanship experience is a prerequisite. A groom that can warm up and exercise horses is nice but not required. We do have a GP schoolmaster in the barn available for lessons if interested.

Must be fluent English speaking and legal to work in the US. We occasionally travel to Europe for shows, so applicant must have a passport or be able to obtain a passport.
