We are a private sport horse and breeding farm in Lexington, KY, dedicated to developing young horses and providing top-quality care for our broodmares and foals. Our program focuses on correct horsemanship, training green horses, and maintaining a professional, drama-free environment.(hunters and jumpers)

Job Description: We are looking for a hardworking, responsible, and experienced equestrian to join our team as a Summer Working Student. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience at a high-quality horse farm while improving their riding and horsemanship skills. We would consider having 2 students as if someone wanted to bring a horse friend.

Responsibilities: ✅ Daily horse care (feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, grooming, tacking, blanketing, etc.) ✅ Handling foals, broodmares, and young horses with confidence and patience ✅ Riding green horses (flatwork, hacking out, basic training rides) ✅ Assisting with vet and farrier appointments ✅ Keeping barn, tack, and equipment clean and organized ✅ General farm maintenance as needed

Requirements: 🔹 Must be confident and experienced with young/green horses – riding and handling 🔹 Comfortable working with broodmares and foals 🔹 Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently 🔹 No smoking, drugs, or drama – professional attitude required 🔹 Reliable transportation and ability to commit to the full summer
