Join our family-owned 3 day eventing barn in Louisiana as an Assistant Trainer! We’re looking for someone passionate about horses, excited to teach, and eager to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
Students of this barn have gone on to work for olympic riders such as Boyd Martin, Joe Myer and Daniela Moguel (where one is currently working).
Key Responsibilities
- Teach riding lessons (primarily kids, with some adult clients).
- Assist in horse training and daily care.
- Participate in horse shows and clinics (some expenses covered quarterly).
Hours and Vacation
- Weekly total hours vary, based on when school is in session. Wednesday afternoons and Sundays off.
- Paid Vacation: After the first 6 months of work, 1 week paid vacation will be given 2x per year.
