Meadowbrook stables is a large lesson and show barn in Chevy Chase, MD searching for an additional team member!
Right now the position is part time teaching beginner through novice level lessons, with the possibility of growing into a full time instructor position in the future for the right individual. The full time position could include grooming (mane pulling/clipping/horse show prep), riding, and/or with the possibility of going to horse shows to groom and school ponies.
This is a great introductory job for those recently out of college looking to gain more experience - though more experience is of course welcomed!
The position is hourly, typically around 20 hours a week in the afternoons and evenings (we teach 4-9pm on weekdays). Part time staff earn sick leave, full time positions offer paid time off and benefits. We offer many professional development opportunities but the position does NOT include housing or a stall for a personal horse. Position is open to start whenever we find the right person to join our team!
