Small private horse farm in Mt. Olive NJ seeking someone to feed horses, blankets on/off, turn horses out (Horses go out at 7 AM), clean stalls, pick paddocks, clean barn, make up feed, groom horses, occasionally clean horse trailer.
Extra skills such as mowing, fixing fences, light landscaping (weeding) would be excellent but not necessary!
Currently 3 horses. Some are retired competition horses, some are still working, all super well behaved and need someone who is gentle and enjoys being around horses. 2 hours a day ( 7AM - 9 AM), 2 - 4 days/week for 20$/hour cash. I pay every week. We can be flexible for the right experienced person. Easy work for good money. Please understand that this is part time! If you are good at this and want more hours, that is a possibility in the future.
Must have experience in handling horses and cleaning stalls. My barn and property are kept very clean and needs to stay that way. I am looking for someone who has good horse sense and enjoys working around horses. References required.

Equestrian Employer Details

I have small private horse farm in Budd Lake NJ. Currently I am keeping retired event horses and my own competition horses come and go from training. I have 4 horses here currently and would not keep more than 6. I take excellent care of my retiree’s and maintain a small 7 stall barn, riding ring, jumps, 5 paddocks and a larger field with jumps in it. Excellent and loving care of horses kept here are a top priority which means I expect attention to detail. This is all possible and a fairly easy job as it is such a small operation. I am a good employer and pay weekly in cash.
