The Equine Manager/Trainer is expected to collaborate with staff on the needs of the resident horses. They will make and hold for appointments, treat and medicate basic veterinaary needs, maintain health records, do basic farm maintenance. Candidates should also have skill in training horses in groundwork to be good citizens and ability to evaluate under saddle training and furtherriding training to make them more adoptable.adoptable.Other responsibilities include meetmeeting with potential adopters to help make suitable matches with horsessupervising and guidvolunteers. Experience in driving tractor, spreader, UTV helpful. This job is about hours/week.

Our 28 acre facility offers lush pastures as well as private paddocks, all with run in sheds, as well as roomy airy stalls for all sizes of horses. Indoor and outdoor training areas provide use in all weather. We also boast the largest used tack shop in the area stocked by donations from the horse community and open to the public for all their horse needs.
