Rockbrook Camp is a fun overnight summer program for girls located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Known for its excellent riding program, specialty riding camp, and premier facilities, it instructs girls ages 6 to 15 at all levels of riding.

The Riding Director seeks applicants who can teach group mounted lessons, general horsemanship skills, and join a team of instructors managing a 31-stall Hunter/Jumper facility and lessons program.

Our equestrian staff therefore teach many levels of riders. Young beginners play mounted games learning important riding principles, horse care, while others learn to post the trot, or canter or jump. More advanced riders jump through gymnastics or over natural obstacles.

We emphasize quality, safe instruction in a friendly, non-competitive environment.

A genuine interest in working with children and a positive attitude are a must. Applicants need strong fundamentals in huntseat riding, and must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Employment Dates are late May through August 11th, with partial contracts possible.

Benefits include salary based on experience, but starting at $325 per week, air-conditioned housing separate from campers, food, laundry and internet service.
