Girls summer camp located in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.
Traditional, but unique summer program for girls, we emphasize outdoor adventure and building confidence in outdoor skills.
Our riding program includes 37 school horses, 4 rings, several fields set up for classes and trails.
Under the supervision of the Barn Manager, the 4 members of the barn staff are in charge of the feeding, grooming, tacking, and general day to day care of 10 horses each.
Work with the riding instructors to create a fun, non-competitive atmosphere in which girls learn a wide variety of stable and horsemanship skills.
Have daily interaction with children helping them get to their lessons, bridling and untacking their horses.
Requirements
Need to be able to comfortably work with a herd of horses and be able to safely control an aisle of horses with children in and around the barn. Need to be a self starter and able to work individually and as a team. Ability to communicate with the Barn Manager and the Riding Director.
