Instructor/Wranglers (part-time Position)

We are a private ranch that teaches youth & adults horseback riding and how to train horses. Some of Schedule Requirements:

• Be available - 1-2 Friday/month (morning/evening)

• Be available - 2 Sat/month in a.m.

• If available looking for - Wed-Friday morning (3-4/month)

• Weekday schedule varies, allowing some flexibility. Ask more details Wrangler/Instructor & assistant teach students during lessons (part-time year- round), clinics, or during the summer programs. Will also work with the horses with caring, feeding & barn attendant etc.

• Teaching mainly youth/adults from Beginner to Advance.

• Keeping all equipment, the stables, arena, horse pens, and help keep supplies organized and in good repair, care for the horses.

• Help assist lead instructor, care for horses, and help in riding programs. Training will be required for all positions

• Paid position if qualified after the training period. (part-time position)

Wrangler/Instructors* need to have extensive horseback riding, be in excellent physical condition, and ability to perform barn chores.

• Previous experience with: Western horseback riding, horse training, Cow work is Plus!

**How to apply -Instructor Position Requirements: **

• Applicants will need to plan come to M&M Ranch for a personal interview/trial period.

• • Video submission may be required of applicant riding experience. ** 1 Lesson is Required: Applicant required pay for an intro lesson as part of the interview process.

• On the job training is required.

• *This is done on your own time. (Average training time 30-40 hours) - Working with horses, students & lessons. **Be available 2 Sat/month a.m.

• Be available - 1-2 Friday/month (morning/evening)

• Be available 2-4 times per month help horses and barn attendant

• Part of the summer (June & early July) weekdays (Usually morning till early afternoon).

• • Applicants must be physically fit, be very dedicated, and hard working.

• Part of the interview will be working with the horses, students & lessons. If more training is needed, we will let you know after the trial period. All Trainings are done on your own time.

• *Those do not qualify may have the option do our Adult Intern Program.

• Fill out an online full application, updated CPR certification.

• (Age 18+) CPR & First Aid Certification Required prior start of employment.

** Adult Ride Intern Program Option: Benefits**

• After approved Intern program, earn credits toward lessons/ride times.
• Grow horsemanship, leadership.
• Training will be provided when you volunteer along with your lessons. (Number of hours & training will vary with each person)
