Winter hunting and prep, summer pony club. 6 days a week - ideally Mon (pm), Tues (am), Wed (am), Thurs (am) Fri (pm), Sat (am/pm). Horses live out in day and in at night in winter and out in summer. Could work well alongside another job. Daily mucking out/ poo picking. Monday and Friday evening hunting prep (wash). Hunting mornings (Tues and Sat) help with prep/ plaiting

The Equestrian Program Manager oversees the Equestrian Department and provides support to the staff with an emphasis on executing the mission and vision of the National Ability Center. The Equestrian Program Manager is responsible for developing our equestrian program as an industry leader and for implementing diverse programming to meet the need of adaptive equestrian community. You must have the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and experiences. A primary role of this and every other job at the National Ability Center is to ensure that each member, guest, and visitor of the National Ability Center receives the highest caliber service. This position requires occasional weekend and after-hours work, as needed. It is a full-time, year-round position with benefits.
• Extensive experience in the equine world; professional skills in multiple areas preferred. • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. while working around the barn and with the horses. • Strong leader with the ability to work well with others and to motivate people. • Ability to positively receive and provide feedback and job coaching for development of self and others. • Proven ability to lead by example, to foster mentoring relationships, and to advocate for the customer experience. • Strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit to accommodate multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities in a quick-paced environment. • Knowledge and skill to design and implement innovative Equestrian programming. • Ability to work with other department leads to ensure development, collaboration, and execution for shared goals. • Ability to develop quality presentations and present to all levels of the organization. • Ability to make quick educated program decisions based on the mission, needs, and strategic plan. • Demonstrated ability to work productively and collaboratively within a team. • Commitment to a positive, fun and team-oriented working environment. • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in basic computer programs such as MS Office. Preferred experience in Paylocity and Salesforce.
