Looking for horse professional who is a problem solver, detail oriented, and quick to action when needed. Seeking someone with maturity, confidence, and able to think on their feet.Looking to fill the role with a trustworthy person to care for horses in owners absence. Must be independent and experience to handle situations as they arise. Light exercising of horses in upscale indoor arena. Responsibilities include feeding, grooming, bathing, supplement administration and general care of horses. Recognizing distress in horses and having knowledge to confidently handle situations promptly. Maintaining a show barn appearance, as well as safe horse environment on a daily basis. Individual should have compassion for horses and focus on their well being. This is not a show or competition barn. Seeking a long term person to care for horses at a high level. Candidate must have excellent work ethic, horse knowledge, empathy, and a love for animals. Maturity and experience required. Live on property, or staying on property when owners travel is required. Must speak fluent english, drive horse and trailer, and legal to work in US. We are a private farm with no drama. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Please submit resume and references.
