Professional family farm in Northern Virginia is searching for an experienced staff member for a multi-faceted horse care, leadership, and teaching position. This is a full time position for an enthusiastic horse person who wants grow their skills and learn more about all aspects of the industry while having meaningful independent responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who can teach and inspire a small group of dedicated young riders to learn to improve their seat and effectiveness in dressage and working equitation. In addition, the position will involve shared management and client related communication to aid our head trainer in running the facility and programs.
This can be an on-site position, offering private housing, which also supports barn staff and helps to manage communication and work load throughout the facility. Applicant must be team oriented, love the art and sport of classical equitation, communicate well and be talented at multi-tasking. Daily shared horse care duties support other staff until lesson load demands more time.
