Looking for a kind, honest, experienced individual to care for my 4 lovely foxhunters in a private barn. Beautiful farm in Northern Virginia. Must be able to care for, ride and prepare horses for hunting . Clipping, grooming, feeding, blanketing and management of all aspects of horse and barn care. Please be organized, efficient and dedicated to the love and care of horses. My horses are well behaved and I would like them to be treated with respect and kindness. Previous experience required as well as 3 professional equine related references. Must be able to keep the barn and surrounding area clean, organized and tidy. Some farm maintenance required. No smoking, previous incarcerations, or substance abuse. Must be able to work independently and have transportation. Apartment on the farm provided to the right individual but not large enough for children or large pets. Work schedule is 6 days a week. Variation with foxhunting season. Must be US citizen and proficient in English.
