Working student to learn in all aspects of barn management, horse training, eventing competition grooming, riding instruction, and equestrian business management.
Working student will receive riding lessons on a regular basis, will help to keep school horses in training, help to train green horses, learn to show groom, and will assist in all aspects of stable management.
This is a great opportunity to train with a highly competitive event rider and coach who has successfully brought many students to high levels of horsemanship. Her students and horses have captured titles such as Novice Adult Amateur Rider of the Year, Adult Rider of the Year, Reserve Champion at Area II Championships, Champion at the Waredaca 3-day, and much more.
This is also a great opportunity to assist in the daily workings of the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program HEAL, which operates with Scattered Acres Sport Horses.
On-site quarters available, opportunity to compete at recognized USEA events, and excellent atmosphere. *Only 1 year long commitments accepted. Must have 1.5 years of recent horse care and riding experience. International applicants must possess a current Visa or be able to obtain a Visa to apply
