We are looking for a passionate, experienced, female Head of Riding to come and run our summer camp horseback riding program. They would be in charge of supervising & mentoring our riding instructors, scheduling lessons, upkeep and care of our 14 horses, occasionally teaching lessons, and everything else that comes along with running a riding program. We have about 40 riders each session, and they are a wide variety of levels. Must have prior experience running a program and teaching.
We teach our campers English riding with an emphasis on balanced seat equitation, jumping, and basic dressage. Our 14 horses live on camp and our campers learn all about horses, stable management and more! Equitation lessons are held in our spacious riding ring that can be divided to run as many as three lessons at one time. Adjacent to the main riding ring is a large field that is used for advanced equitation and jumping lessons. Camp is surrounded by miles of quiet dirt roads and trails that offer an idyllic setting for trail rides in the beautiful New Hampshire countryside.
Must have a love of horses & working with children and college aged staff.
This is a paid position, and room and board are included. Can commute if live nearby. Dates are June 1st - August 13th, 2025 (start date is slightly flexible)
