We are looking for some passionate, experienced female riders/instructors to come and work at our summer camp horseback riding program teaching our campers English riding with an emphasis on balanced seat equitation, jumping, and basic dressage. Our riders also live in cabins with our campers and at least one other counselor.
We have 14 horses that live on camp and our campers learn all about horses, stable management and more! Equitation lessons are held in our spacious riding ring that can be divided to run as many as three lessons at one time. Adjacent to the main riding ring is a large field that is used for advanced equitation and jumping lessons. Camp is surrounded by miles of quiet dirt roads and trails that offer an idyllic setting for trail rides in the beautiful New Hampshire countryside.
This is a paid position, and room and board are included. Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
The dates are June 6- August 13th, 2025 (start date is flexible)
Requirements
Our riding staff teaches lessons daily to our campers and also lives in a cabin with at least 2 other counselors and campers.

Camp Wa-Klo is an all girls and gender minorities, summer camp located at the foot of Mt. Monadnock in the beautiful southwest region of New Hampshire. “Our little corner of the world” provides a special summer home for campers with a warm, nurturing, and inviting family.
